Below is a detailed description to help you prepare for your upcoming trip:

Our meeting point is down at the marina in Wollongong Harbour where our vessel “Aquilla” is berthed. To locate us, please follow the Google map in this link.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled departure at 1:30pm to allow time for boarding.

We will allow a grace period of 10 minutes from the departure time for late arrivals. Beyond that, the boat will leave regardless. There will strictly be no refunds or reschedules for late arrivals or no shows.

Free all-day street parking is available alongside the marina, located just below Endeavour Dr, as pictured above.

There is also free all-day parking available near Flagstaff Point (Wollongong Head) Lighthouse, which is a 5-min walk to the vessel.

WHAT TO WEAR 

  • Appropriate clothing for the season (shorts or long pants are fine)

  • Windbreaker or jacket to shield you against sea spray

  • Sneakers or non-skid rubber soled shoes; Thongs are not recommended

  • Rain jacket (in case of wet weather)

WHAT TO BRING

  • Sun protection such as hat, sunnies, sun screen

  • Seasickness medication if required (we don't supply any medication onboard)

  • BYO snacks and drinks

Weather conditions can be unpredictable and can change at any time, which is out of our control. Cancellations may occur the day before or the morning of your scheduled trip. Kindly take this into consideration when booking accommodation specifically for our scenic cruise.

It is in our best efforts to provide you ample time for any changes ahead of your cruise. In the event of bad weather forecast; we will notify you by 10am on the day of your scheduled trip.

If you are not contacted by these times, your cruise is going ahead on schedule.

Please note that our phone only operates during business hours, from 9am-5:30pm. Should you need to contact us outside of business hours, please send us a text message to 0407 799 278 and we will reply ASAP.

Tips for managing seasickness

Seasickness can affect anyone, and everyone experiences it differently. To ensure your fishing trip is enjoyable, we recommend consulting a GP or pharmacist for the best medication or prevention plan suited to you before boarding. Please note, we do not provide seasickness medication onboard, nor are we authorised to offer medical advice. Plan ahead and be prepared to make the most of your time on the water!
