We're excited to have you join us on an unforgettable fishing charter adventure. Below is a detailed description to help you prepare for your upcoming trip:

Our meeting point is down at the marina in Wollongong Harbour where our vessels, “Aquilla” and “Reel Force”, are berthed. To locate our vessels, please follow the Google map in this link.

Our meeting point is at the boats where “Aquilla” & “Reel Force” are berthed along the wharf as pictured above.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled departure to allow time for boarding.

For Per Person bookings: We will allow a grace period of 10 minutes from the departure time for late arrivals. Beyond that, the boat will leave regardless. There will strictly be no refunds or reschedules for late arrivals or no shows.

For Whole Boat bookings: Departure time is flexible, but the return time is fixed according to your booking. There will strictly be no refunds or reschedules for late arrivals or no shows.

Free all-day street parking is available alongside the marina, located just below Endeavour Dr, as pictured above.

There is also free all-day parking available near Flagstaff Point (Wollongong Head) Lighthouse, which is a 5-min walk to the vessels.

essentials

WHAT TO WEAR 

  • Appropriate clothing for the season (shorts or long pants are fine)

  • Windbreaker to protect you from sea sprays and keep you warm on early morning starts

  • Sneakers or non-skid rubber soled shoes; Thongs are not recommended

  • Rain jacket (in case of wet weather)

WHAT TO BRING

  • Plenty of water!

  • A bag/ esky to take your catches home

  • Some ice to keep your catches chilled if you have a long journey home

  • Light food and snacks

  • BYO alcohol is permitted for 18+, but in moderation

  • Sun protection such as hat, sunnies, sun screen

  • Seasickness medication if required (we don't supply any medication onboard)

  • Hand towel (it can get messy!)

  • No need to worry about fishing gear; we've got you covered! Our charters provide all necessary fishing equipment, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle. However, if you prefer to use your own gear, feel free to bring it along.

DO NOT BRING

  • BANANAS! They are bad luck, and will get thrown overboard if seen by our crew! 😉

in the event of bad weather

Weather conditions can be unpredictable and can change at any time, which is out of our control. Cancellations may occur the day before or the morning of your scheduled charter. Kindly take this into consideration when booking accommodation specifically for our charter.

It is in our best efforts to provide you ample time for any changes to your charter, and in the event of bad weather forecast; we will call you personally –
Morning charters: by 6pm the day before your scheduled charter.
Afternoon charters: by 10am on the day of your scheduled charter.

If you are not contacted by these times, your charter is going ahead on schedule. A text message will be sent to the mobile number provided in your booking to confirm.

Please note that our phone only operates during business hours, from 9am-5:30pm. Should you need to contact us outside of business hours, please send us a text message to 0407 799 278 and we will reply ASAP.

And finally, we're committed to preserving the natural beauty of the waters we fish in. Please dispose of any trash properly and respect the marine environment.
